The Demon King

Hey guys! I know know I haven't been doing my blog in awhile, so I'm back!! And I just finished The Demon King. The Demon King is by Cinda Williams Chima, and The Demon King is a Seven Realms Novel. It is about wizards, princesses, dark magic, queens, clans, and there is action. I can't wait to get my hands on the next book. If you like books with wizardry, like I do, I would suggest this book.

Nim's Island

Nim checked her email. There was one email in her Inbox. It said:

I can picture it now. A sea turtle's fippler's marked in the golden sand of a beach. With your footprints beside the marks.

After Nim sent the email and left the hut Nim yelled, "Chica is coming." A sea turtle swims up to shore. Chica uses her powerful front flippers to dig a hole. Only Nim, Fred, and Selkie know where Chica's egg hiding spot is. Nim sits beside her after she is done burring her eggs. Selkie sits next to Nim and Fred gets on Nim's shoulders. Then Nim went back to the hut to email Alex:

Chica the sea turtle came to Turtle Rock today! To lay her eggs!

Nim went up to Coconut Kove and started on the coconut raft. Nim thought that if she nailed a board in between two coconuts she could make the raft but that didn't work the shells kept breaking. She got lots of wounds. This was the e-mail:

I tried your experiment. nailing a board in between the coconuts is defiantly not the answer. Maybe if your hero had a bag.

There is still school there. Nim learns dolphin language, learns about plankton and tells what the barometer says. Now without jack there she had more chores to do. Now let me tell you about her friends, Fred the lizard, Selkie the sea lion, Chica the sea turtle{later in the book}, and Galileo the pelican{also later in the book}.Selkie is very protective when the other sea lions called her to come to sleep she stayed behind and made sure she was close to Nim. Fred is a lazy lizard, who eats coconut he is not supposed to but, no one ever told Fred. Nim got her call from Jack. Just like he promised. The second day Jack got an email to his computer but, Jack was out at sea. So Nim read it it looked like this:

I have a few questions

1. Do coconuts float?
2.If so how long?
3. How could I make a raft out of coconuts?

I could not remember the emails so I made some up :)

In the first chapter Jack is leaving for three days to collect plankton. He said he will phone every night . And if he doesn't contact or come back to send out an SOS. After Jack{nim's dad} left Nim was all alone on an island. Let me explain...When Nim was just a baby her mom went to explore the contents of a blue whale's stomach. when she was in the whale the Trappo Tourist came to where the experiment was and was taking photos and everything then Jack told them to stop but they refused and bumped the whale's nose, it panicked and dived. No one knew how far deep it went or where it went. Then Jack found an island. A place with no trappo tourist. There was a volcano, caverns, cocanuts, and fresh water. Down at the bottom of the volcano was a perfect place for a hut. Jack built a hut, planted seeds, and made dishes.

Sea of Monsters

Percy saw that Thalia's tree was posined. And also saw that thy were in war with two bronze bulls. Annabeth and Percy came to help. One of the daughters of Ares I forget her name. Well any way she was in trouble. When Percy was trying to help her he put himself in danger too. Then Annabeth was in the middle of a fight when Percy was in trouble. So Annabeth yelled to Tyson, "You need to help Percy." His reply was But-Then Annabeth cut him off. Tyson I give you permission to come. Then he came to Percy's rescue. Then after the war with the bulls Clariesse...That's her name I remember! Said "I didn't need help!" Also after the little war Chiron also came to talk to Percy. Then Annabeth ran up to Chiron in a sad tone "So are you really leaving?" "Yes young one." "Now I need to talk to Percy." Hey Chiron. Hello Percy. I told your mother not to let you come. Someone has posined Thalia's tree. So your really leaving. Yes. Because the gods think I posined Thalia's tree. But why would they think you posined Thalia's tree You want to know why they do not trust me? They do not trust me because I am the son of Kronos!!!! DUN DUN DDDDDUUUUNNNNNNNN!!!!!!!!
